PROGRAM SPONSORSHIPS
Why You Should Sponsor
Those most in need of a service dog typically cannot afford the cost. Historically, Brigadoon has asked non-veteran clients to attempt to raise $10,000 to help offset the costs of raising and training their dog to a successful placement. We have also been committed to never asking for funds from veterans, both as a recognition of their service and sacrifice, but also to remain eligible for federal grants that may require it, allowing us to meet the high demand in the veteran community.
As one of the few ADI-accredited organizations in WA state, we are contacted daily by those in search of a service dog. We have to grow the capacity of our organization to help meet that demand, and we would like to never ask any client to raise funds for the service dog they so need. That means we need larger facilities to increase training, client services, and the support staff required to produce our dogs. Also required are robust but affordable technology support solutions, reliable and economical transportation options, the highest quality of training techniques and devices, additional safe and enriching space for the dogs in training, and sufficient operating funds to keep the lights on and those positive reinforcement clickers clicking!
